Program Details

The Undergraduate Certificate is available to any Georgia State University student pursuing a bachelor’s degree, and you can apply by completing the application through the HOW TO APPLY link below. Students should declare their certificate as early as possible, but they may declare up to their graduation date, as long as all requirements are met. For certificates with a capstone, we recommend applying at least one semester before your expected graduation. You will receive an email notification about the status of your application within a week of submission.

The program requires completion of 12 semester hours, which includes at least six project lab course hours. Courses taken as part of a Georgia State University certificate program count toward the requirements of the certificate and may also count toward core curriculum, major, and minor requirements.

This program’s curriculum includes project lab courses, perspectives on human expressions and signature experience courses.
