Review the checklist below to make sure you’re ready for the first week of school.

HAVE YOUR PANTHERCARD HANDY.

Your PantherCard is your official Georgia State identification. If you don’t have one, bring your government-issued ID to a PantherCard Office to get yours. Follow the floor decals to the floor above the Chick-fil-A. PantherCards are required to access Atlanta Campus buildings from 8 p.m. through 11 p.m., Monday through Friday. Swipe card access is also required before 7:30 a.m.

FINALIZE YOUR CLASS SCHEDULE. ORDER BOOKS FOR YOUR CLASSES.

Classes begin Aug. 26 and late registration ends Aug. 30. You can purchase or rent books for your classes at the Georgia State University Bookstore.

LATE REGISTRATION TUITION PAYMENT IS DUE BY 5 P.M. FRIDAY, AUG. 30.

Panther Answer is your one-stop shop for questions about financial aid, registration and your student account.

PantherAlert sends out critical safety information about inclement weather and campus safety emergencies through email, text messages, phone calls and social media. LiveSafe allows students to request safety escorts, report crime tips and more.

PICK UP A NEW MARTA PASS OR A PARKING PERMIT.

As a Georgia State student, you can get a discounted monthly MARTA pass through Campus Services. If you’re planning on driving to campus, get a parking permit through ParkingWeb. Vehicle registration serves as your parking decal for accessing the FREE parking available at both the Green Lot on the Atlanta Campus and at all Perimeter College campuses.

SAVE BY USING PANTHERCASH.

Sign up for a PantherCash account online and start saving money. Whether you are a commuter student or live on campus, you can save money in our bookstore, dining halls, vending machines and Atlanta Campus parking garages.
