We are conducting a project that looks at people’s use of the Internet and the formation and development of online relationships. The questionnaire asks about your general feeling of social interactions, use of the Internet, and your communication behaviors with your online relational partners. Most questions are multiple choices. It should take you about 15-20 minutes to complete.

The information gained from this questionnaire will help us to better understand the factors related to the online relationships among Internet users. We would like you to share your experience honestly and completely, because everyone undoubtedly has different feelings regarding using the Internet for social interactions.

Your responses will be confidential. The questionnaire will be identified by number (no IP address will be tracked). The raw data will be protected by using a password. Only the researchers will have access to the original data. In addition, the numerical data will be presented in aggregate from, and no identifying information will be reported.
