vClass/Elluminate

Elluminate is a web collaboration system and real-time virtual environment, an Elluminate product. This technology, known as vClass at Georgia State, provides a powerful and easy-to-use collaboration environment for classes and meetings. Elluminate allows instructors and students to talk over the internet, text chat online, deliver PowerPoint presentations and share software applications and whiteboards.

Elluminate may be implemented alone or add dynamic interaction to a uLearn course. Elluminate sessions create possibilities for:

guest speakers
group project meetings
breakout rooms for small group discussion
application sharing
polling, quizzing and surveys
recording sessions for later playback

Elluminate is available to Georgia State faculty, staff and students via the Student Technology Fee.
