The University Events team is behind the scenes at all presidential and university-wide functions and we can consult with your department on events, as well.
Presidential Functions
From official ceremonies to social events, University Events plans and executes all presidential functions, supporting President Becker as he promotes the university and engages our friends and supporters.
University-Wide Events & Promotions
Twice a year, University Events works with departments across campus to stage Georgia State’s commencement exercises in a way that befits the significance of the occasion. University Events also coordinates various events such as ground-breakings, ribbon-cuttings, press conferences and athletics promotions.
