Georgia State offers a variety of programs to inspire, motivate and welcome our first-year students. The Freshman Learning Communities (FLCs) program has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report among the “outstanding examples of academic programs that are believed to lead to student success.” The First-Year Book Program is now in its third year and encourages students to hone their critical thinking skills and study habits before their first day of class.
