Please find Freshman Learning Communities (FLC) offered in Fall 2013 organized by fields of interest. 
You will have an opportunity to register for an FLC during your Incept date.

Arts
Artistic? Thinking about a major in photography, art history, graphic design, interior design, or painting? These FLCs will start you off the right track.
Business
Interested in management, finance, accounting, actuarial sciences? These FLCs will lay the groundwork for your major. A placement exam in mathematics is strongly recommended.
Education
Think you would be a good teacher? Then one of these FLCs are for you.
Health Sciences
These FLCs are designed to students interested in pursuing a career in exercise science, nursing, nutrition, and respiratory therapy. A placement exam in mathematics is recommended.
Humanities
If you want to explore communication, history, literature, gender, race, and religion, then you will find an FLC that fits your interest.
Natural Sciences
These FLCs are designed for students who are considering a major in the sciences (biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, neuroscience, and physics). In order to participate in one of these FLCs, students must take placement exams in mathematics and in chemistry prior to attending Incept.
Policy Studies
These FLCs are designed for students who are interested in criminal justice, social work, economics, or policy studies.
Social Sciences
If you like psychology, sociology, political science, anthropology, and other possible majors dealing with people and society, one of these FLCs will surely interest you.
Undeclared
Not sure what you want to major in? Not a problem! We have many FLCs that are specifically designed to help students who are undecided. Let us help you identifying your strengths.

Whichever FLC you will select, all courses will benefit towards graduation . . . regardless of your major!

In order to sign up for one of these FLCs, make sure to attend one of the Incepts for incoming first-year students.
