IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PLEASE READ! Please be advised that the Student Advisement Center will be closed from Saturday, December 19, 2009, through Monday, January 4, 2010. Whether you are attempting to comprehend the exhaustive course listings and descriptions or you simply want guidance in understanding how classes relate to your major, the Student Advisement Center can help you put the pieces together. Choosing a major and picking the appropriate courses for the core curriculum are just some areas in which the Student Advisement Center can help provide you direction.

The Student Advisement Center (SAC) serves all freshmen students, new students with under 42 credit hours, and students in the Academic Improvement Program. Please view our Academic Advising Syllabus to better understand our mission, purpose, and expectations during your advisement process. Students may contact the center by phone or by email to schedule an appointment with an advisor.

The Student Advisement Center is located in 255 Sparks Hall. Call 404-413-2300 for an appointment for regular advisement sessions. Walk-in advisement is also available for students who have BRIEF questions. NOTE: Walk-in hours should not be used for an AIP advisement session for any student with less than 42 hours.
 
Regular office hours:
Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Walk-in hours to briefly see your alphabetically assigned advisor:
Monday-Thursday: 10:00a.m. - 10:50 and 3:00p.m. -3:50.
On Fridays, walk-in is available from 10:00a.m. -10:50 only. 

Advisor of the Day (AOD)

An AOD will also be available for walk-in advisement from 9a.m. -1p.m. and 2p.m. - 4 each day, for brief questions only.
