	ALICE WALKER An Evening with Alice Walker Thursday, April 8, 2010 6:00 p.m. Sports Arena THIS IS A TICKETED EVENT. Students may pick up 2 FREE tickets at the Student Center Information Desk by showing their PantherCard ID through March 26. Although students may pick-up tickets after this date, any remaining tickets will also be free and available to non-students beginning March 27. Unless sold out, seating may be available the day of the event.
	KEN BURNS Sharing the American Experience Thursday, March 25, 2010 3:00 p.m. Student Center Ballroom Mr. Burns will answer questions from the audience at the conclusion of his speech. Mr. Burns will be available to sign copies of his books following the presentation. This event is FREE and open to all GSU students, faculty, staff, and the general public. 	TIM GUNN Star of Project Runway Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style Monday, February 22, 2010 3:00 p.m. Student Center Ballroom Tim Gunn will answer questions from the audience following the presentation. He will be available to sign his book, Tim Gunn: A Guide to Quality, Taste, and Style following the program. This program is free of charge and is open to students, faculty, staff and the general public. No tickets or reservations are required.
	OPEN MIC NIGHT Monday, February 8th, 2010 Speakers Auditorium, Student Center Performer Entry Fee: $5 per group Audience Entry Fee: No Charge To sign up, complete the application and return to: Michael Sechrist msechrist2@student.gsu.edu (404) 413-1876 GUIDELINES Each performing group may have 1-3 performers. All performers must be GSU students. Only the 1st 15 groups to sign up will be able to perform. Each group will perform 2 songs before a panel of 3 judges and the audience. The top 3 groups will perform an additional song. The winner will receive $150 and will perform on Library Plaza Stage this spring. RULES Must use real instruments (no loops, tracks, CD music, etc.) If using drums, no more than 4 pieces allowed. Performance slots will be assigned on a first-come basis. Each group must report to Speakers Auditorium 25 minutes prior to performance time
	COLLEGE NIGHT AT THE HIGH MUSEUM OF ART Saturday, January 23, 2010 7:00 p.m. - Midnight FREE SHUTTLES FROM CAMPUS Campus Events is providing FREE shuttles from the Student Center and the Commons to/from from the High Museum.
