Carole Golder

Carole Golder received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware and a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina. She holds a certificate in Campus Program Management from the National Association for Campus Activities. Ms. Golder has worked for the Student*University Center since August 2000. She supervises the conference and customer service programs for the University and Student Centers, including the reservation process, conference marketing, event management, student desk staff training and information desk functions which includes $100,000 in annual sales. Ms. Golder is responsible for ensuring quality event supervision and user services, as well as, to contributing to the accomplishment of the goals of the Student*University Center and the mission of the University.

Brian Wilson

Brian Wilson received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia's Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. He joined the Student*University Center in January 2012 and possesses an extensive background in meeting and event planning services in both the public and private sector, with more than 10 years devoted specifically toward event planning and coordination within a higher education environment. He oversees the daily management of the Student*University Center Reservations Office and works primarily with co-sponsored and unaffiliated clients hosting major events and conferences within Student*University Center facilities. Additionally, he initiates marketing and solicitation efforts to determine and address the needs of unaffiliated clients in the metro-Atlanta area. 

Elana Wilder

Elana Wilder received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Georgia State University. She began working with the Student*University Center in 2007 as Assistant Conference Coordinator and became Conference Coordinator in 2008. She is responsible primarily for events in the State Ballroom and Speaker's Auditorium, as well as multi-room conferences for chartered student organizations and departments. She possesses more than 12 years of event planning and guest service experience.

Phillip Smith advises the Spotlight Programs Board, supervises the Cinefest Film Theatre and coordinates the annual Miss Georgia State University Scholarship Pageant.

Chinara "CC" Thomas

CC Thomas graduated from Georgia State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She currently assists the Assistant Director for Programs with Spotlight Programs Board and other projects as assigned. She has been working with the Student*University Center since October 2007.

Sarah Wilcox

Sarah Wilcox, a native of the Atlanta area, received a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from the University of Georgia in 2005 and a Master of Science in Education in Student Affairs Administration from Indiana University in 2008. She has worked for the Student*University Center since August 2012. She serves as the advisor to the Campus Events Council, which brings high-profile speakers, music, special events and performing arts to Georgia State University for the students, faculty and staff.

Teresa Weimann received a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Berry College and a Master of Science in student affairs and higher education from Indiana State University. She has worked for the Student*University Center since August 2010. She works closely with the Spotlight Programs Board and the Campus Events Council to help create diverse and exciting programs for the campus community. She also coordinates the Courtyard Series, for which she programs a lunchtime and evening series featuring musicians and comedians on the Courtyard Stage.

Elaine Strickland received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. She has over 25 years of experience in administration and accounting. Ms. Strickland joined the Campus Events program in April 2011 assisting the Campus Events Advisor and completing special projects for the Associate Director for Programs and Services.

Tricia Herndon received a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and political science, summa cum laude, from Baylor University. She has worked for the Student*University Center since August 2010. She coordinates promotional activities and the production of marketing materials for events sponsored by Campus Events, Spotlight Programs Board, Leadership Development and Student Organizations, as well as other events initiated by the Student*University Center.
