The intent of the University System of Georgia Staff Council is to advance the mission of the system as a whole and to promote and foster the welfare of system staff, in non-collective bargaining issues, through the combined creativity of staff representatives from system institutions. The vice chair of the Staff Council serves as Georgia State's representative to the USGSC.
The USGSC holds an annual meeting each year at a member institution. The 2011 conference will be held at the University of Georgia on Wednesday, October 5 and Thursday, October 6. Mark your calendars and plan to attend!
