The Epson RS1800 and RS800 printers can handle up to 13"x19" paper, labels, transparencies, and other unique formats. Students must provide their own paper and or media. Students must bring the paper in its original packaging, so that we can verify its compatibility with the printer. There is no charge to use the printers. Limit 10 prints per student per day.

For those students who are looking for advanced photo cameras, the Digital Aquarium now offers Nikon D-80 camera kits. The Nikon D-80 is a digital SLR camera, featuring a removable lens, manual exposure and focus controls, 25MB Raw resolution and 10MB JPEG. Students must take the Advanced Photo (D-80) workshop, before they can reserve the camera. Students can still checkout Sony Cybershot 10MB basic digital photo cameras, without a workshop from the Digital Aquarium. There are no charges to checkout cameras from the Digital Aquarium.

Sony High Definition Video Cameras Now Available

The Digital Aquarium has expanded its extremely successful camera checkout program by acquiring more Basic video cameras and adding new workshops on High Definition (HD) video production. The latest cameras are the Sony A1U HDV cameras, which are capable of shooting in both 1440x1080 HD and 720x480 standard definition (SD). The A1U cameras also have advanced built-in features, such as microphone inputs, manual exposure controls, and professional timecode controls.
Students interested in checking out the SONY A1U HDV cameras, must first attend the Digital Video 1 workshop, which covers the Canon GL2 camera, tripods and microphones. Then students can sign-up to take the HD workshop, titled Digital Video 3.
