Airport
Atlanta connects to the rest of the world through Hartsfield-Jackson airport, one of the largest airports in the world. Whether you’re making a stop in Savannah, Georgia, or flying halfway around the world to New Delhi, India, you can probably get there from here.
Hartsfield-Jackson connects flights on six concourses, including an international concourse. Each concourse offers restaurants, shops and other facilities, such as ATMs, U.S. Postal Offices, and Internet access on specific concourses. Information desks are conveniently located throughout the airport to address passenger questions and concerns. Students should check atlanta-airport.com for up-to-date flight schedules.
Getting to Hartsfield-Jackson
You can get to the airport easily from MARTA, or drive the 10 miles from downtown and the Georgia State campus. The airport’s Ground Transportation area is the hub that connects passengers to terminals, baggage claim, the MARTA Airport Train Station, parking lots and all other ground transportation services. MARTA, located at the west entrance of ground transportation, is easy and safe to ride and has a RideStore for passenger information and an e-Ticket counter for Delta travelers.
