Co-sponsorships
Georgia State’s Student Government believes that student organizations are an integral part of students having a health student life presence on campus. Along with selecting the students who sit on the Student Activity Fee Council, the Student Government can sometimes also provide small amounts additional funding throughout the school year.
Student organizations have the opportunity to petition the Student Government for extra funds for certain events. The SGA through the Vice President of Student Life and the committee on Student Life then reviews the petition, ensures that funding the event does not violate any of the University’s regulations, and then decides what amount of money to allocate.
In order to be considered, Co-Sponorship Packets must be typed and submitted at least six weeks prior to the event's date.
