Leadership: As candidate running for senator o the College of Arts & Sciences I have been thoroughly involved in on campus activities that have provided me with a great deal of leadership experience. Most notably, I am the current president of Freshmen-Sophomore Political Science Honors Society. This opportunity has allowed me to oversee an entire organization that has, among many things, taught me how to manage, plane events, communicate, balance budgets, as well as learn the true concerns of students.
Platform: For the next academic school year it is my goal to to continue to work for the advancement of Georgia State University and to further improve the services that are provided to the student body by the university in order to increase academic achievement as well as the overall student experience. In order to continue on the path of meeting this goal it is important to continue to actively implement current policies that have worked efficiently as well as reform and create new ones. In order for Georgia State to continue to grow it is important to provide students with the proper services and opportunities that will help the students reach their true potential s and maximize their experiences here at this university. Moreover, it is increasingly important to place more emphasis on student organizations and properly fund them. Furthermore, considering the current rate of growth in the greek system it is important to promote more greek unity on campus as well as representation they deserve.
