Leadership: I am currently Academic Chair for the Delta Beta Chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated, an organization that has consistently had the one of the highest GPA’s among the Greek organizations on Georgia State’s campus. I have experience successfully organizing academic programs and providing academic resources such as study rooms in the library, study sessions, and directing individuals to the proper departments for tutoring.

 

Platform: All official transcripts should be free due to the fact that scholarships, graduate school and law school applications etc require official transcripts. I also strongly believe that there should be more informational seminars in regards to registering for classes, graduate and law school application process, advisement sessions, etc held later in the evenings to cater to the nontraditional student or student who have other responsibilities which prevent them from attending during the day circumstances outside of their control. I would also like to explore what options area available to assist students who are currently in the bottom percentile of their class, by either implementing new programs or perfecting older ones, so that students can improve their standing within the university. Lastly I am open to any and all suggestions that would cater to students’ unique needs and learning styles.
