Volunteer Opportunities
The Office of Civic Engagement partners with local non-profit organizations to offer volunteer opportunities for Georgia State students, faculty, and staff.
All volunteer coordination is done through our partnership with United Way’s Volunteer Solutions. When you are ready to volunteer, use this database to create a profile, sign up for volunteer opportunities and events and log your volunteer hours.
On the Volunteer Solutions homepage, volunteer and internship opportunities are posted under Spotlights, New Listings and Updated Listings. In the News section you will find upcoming events or information that relates to community service and civic engagement. The Calendar is also a good place to find opportunities. It lists volunteer positions that are scheduled for specific days during each month.
Our office staff is also available to help or advise you about volunteering, but all signups are done through the Volunteer Solutions database. You can easily use the system to email or call a contact at an organization. Please contact us if you need help using the system.
Volunteer opportunities are available for all interests, schedules, and talents. We are here to help you find positions that are a good fit for you, so that both you and the volunteer agency benefit from your participation.
