JumpStart
JumpStart is a non-profit organization working to prepare the American child for success in school. Motivated college students can be a part of this effort by serving as corps members. Corps members play the role of mentors to preschool children in a caring and supportive one-to-one relationship that lasts throughout the school year. College student corps members will engage the children in activities such as one-on-one reading, literacy, language, and social interactions such as singing, finger-plays, movement games, etc.
