American Red Cross of Fulton County

The Red Cross is an international organization that provides care for the homeless, wounded, or sick people in times of war.

Fulton County Red Cross chapter was first chartered on July 18, 1917. Red Cross workers are trained for various types of disasters which may be caused by radiation, explosive materials, toxic chemicals, and weapons of mass destruction. Workers are also trained on more traditional disasters such as tornadoes, earthquakes, home fires and other disasters that threaten the life and well being of humans and communities at large.
