AIDS Walk

AIDS Walk is an annual event that raises funds to benefit AIDS organizations.

On Sunday October 21, 2007, thousands of individuals, organizations and corporations united in the spirit of caring and giving by participating in the largest and most visible fundraising event for AIDS in the southeast, AIDS Walk Atlanta.

We at the office of Civic engagement want to thank everyone that participated for making it possible for AIDS Atlanta and 11 other AIDS service organizations to continue their work to stop the spread of HIV, and enhance the lives of those living with the disease.

Join one of several teams participating form Georgia State for the 17th year for this annual event. The starting point for the event is Piedmont Park with runners beginning at 1:45 p.m. and walkers starting at 2 p.m.
