Am I Eligible?
A student must meet the following requirements to be eligible for work study:
- Demonstrate financial need based on family financial information submitted on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current year. All required forms and documents must be submitted on time; deadlines are established by the Georgia State University Financial Aid Office. Federal Work-Study funds are awarded on a first-come first-served basis, until all funds are exhausted.
- Be accepted or enrolled at least half-time as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress and be in good standing with the University.
- Be a citizen, immigrant, refugee, or a permanent resident alien of the U.S.
