The regular operations of the University Senate generally follow a committee review procedure. Most matters of substance are submitted for committee study, recommendations, and/or action prior to definitive action by the University Senate. Standing committee business can be initiated by each committee, the chair of the University Senate, individual members of the University Senate, or by a vote of the general faculty.
