People
The members of Safe Zone State, committee, trainers and allies, are a team of interdisciplinary staff, faculty, and students within the university who are committed to increase awareness and acceptance of the LGBTQIQ community. We provide education, training, and support related to LGBTQIQ issues in order to increase knowledge of the diversity of sexual identity and gender identity. The Safe Zone State symbol, the rainbow paw, signifies a safe place to talk about issues that impact LGBTQIQ individuals.
