Insurance Claims For Student Accidents

When you register for classes at Georgia State University, part of your registration fee is applied to the Mandatory Student Accident Policy. This policy provides excess or secondary accident coverage when injured on campus, or during a field trip for academic credit or while participating in other pre-approved covered activities. That means that if you currently have insurance-either your own or through your parents- you must first file a claim with your insurance company.  If  your insurance does not pay the entire bill, you can then file a claim against the Mandatory Student Accident Policy at Georgia State. If you don’t have any insurance, you can immediately file a claim against this Policy.
