3.4.8 Noncredit to Credit

Comprehensive Standard: The institution awards academic credit for course work taken on a noncredit basis only when there is documentation that the noncredit course work is equivalent to a designated credit experience.

Narrative:

Georgia State University does not award academic credit for course work taken on a noncredit basis, and has a clear policy that students may not transfer from audit to credit status or vice-versa after the last day to register for course credit. [1]  A specific graduate policy also addresses this issue. [2]
