Comprehensive Standard: The institution’s policies are clear concerning ownership of materials, compensation, copyright issues, and the use of revenue derived from the creation and production of all intellectual property. These policies apply to students, faculty, and staff.

Narrative:

Georgia State University has an “Intellectual Property Policy” [1] that was adopted by the University Senate on December 5, 2002.  The policy clarifies that it applies to students, faculty, staff, and other employees.  This policy is available on the web site of the Office of Legal Affairs. [2]
