Narrative:

In Fall 2006, Georgia State University had a total enrollment of approximately 26,000 students. Approximately 19,000 were in undergraduate programs, and approximately 7,000 were in graduate and professional programs. Final Fall 2007 numbers will not be available until mid-October, but preliminary enrollments for this semester are 20,000 undergraduate students and 7,000 graduate and professional students.

Bachelor’s degree programs are offered in over 50 major areas through six colleges. The degrees include Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Social Work.

Master’s degree programs are offered in over 70 major areas through four colleges and a school.  The degrees include Master of Arts,  Masters of Business Administration, Master of Education, Master of Fine Arts, Master of Music, Master of Physical Therapy, Master of Public Administration, Master of Science, and Master of Social Work.  The College of Law offers the Juris Doctor degree.  The College of Education offers the Educational Specialist degree.

The Doctor of Philosophy degree is awarded in over 30 major areas through six colleges.
