Returning to Georgia State
A reentry student is one who has been enrolled at Georgia State University and who meets at least one of these criteria:
- has not registered for courses at Georgia State during any of the previous three semesters.
- has been on scholastic suspension after an absence of one calendar year.
- has been on scholastic exclusions after an absence of five or more years.
- has attended any semester as a transient and wishes to attend an additional term.
Application Procedures
The Reentry Application is available online. You will need to submit a $25.00 application fee with your application. Reentry students who are accepted but do not attend the semester in which they were admitted must contact admissions@gsu.edu to attend the succeeding semester.
Reentry Apply Online Start Dates:
Fall Semester - December 1
Spring Semester - August 29
Summer Semester - December 1
If you wish to enroll as a GSU-62 student, do not use this application. Please email our office at admissions@gsu.edu. GSU-62 students are not required to submit an application fee.
A complete reentry application and any required document must be submitted by the following semester deadlines:
