Academic and Research Activities
Lab Safety and Hazard Communication – Before beginning research at Georgia State you must complete appropriate training on the operating procedures at GSU.
Design & Construction Activities
Will your project impact Asbestos or any other hazardous materials during construction activities? See Hazardous Materials in Construction. Project Managers want to submit the scope of work and a completed questionnaire.
Renovation projects generate waste streams that are regulated – We recycle light bulbs, ballasts batteries, mercury containing equipment as TCSA Universal Waste.
Environmental Site Assessments
The Board of Regents requires an environmental site assessment (ESA) prior to any real property acquisitions, acceptance of gifts of real property, and prior to site selection for construction projects. The new ESA requirements were issued by the US EPA in November 2006 and the Board of Regents ESA Guidelines have been updated to reflect these new requirements.
Maintenance, Renovation, Housekeeping and Grounds
