University Research Services and Administration

Education and Training

The mission of the URSA Education and Training Program is to provide educational support to the research community of Georgia State University.  Our main goal is to help researchers and research administrators smoothly navigate the world of research administration from beginning to end.

We offer a variety of training opportunities designed to increase knowledge and skills in the areas of grants management, finding internal and external funding sources, research compliance and safety.  URSA also provides oversight for Research Integrity and the Responsible Conduct of Research.  In this area we are a source of information and guidance on Georgia State's standard of conduct in facilitating research.
