Congressionally Directed Medical Research Progam (CDMRP)

The Principal Investigator (PI) registers on the website and then enters the required information. The “Contract Representative" or Authorized Official is Albertha Barrett. The Alternative Submitter should be your OSP Officer. The PI also uploads the proposal files and indicates when the information and the files are ready for the OSP officer review. The system will generate an email to Asst VP Albertha Barrett that the proposal is ready to be submitted.

Five (5) days before the grant application due date, a hard copy of the application, together with a signed copy of the Proposal Approval Form, must be submitted to OSP. The electronic proposal should be uploaded but remain in draft form during this process and OSP Officers should have access to the application as an alternative submitter.

PIs can submit to OSP an administrative shell that includes the signed Proposal Approval Form, all agency forms completed (including the budget and budget narrative), and a draft of the research narrative. However, it is mandatory that the final draft of the application be completed 48 hours before the grant application due date and PIs should email their OSP Officer that the grant is ready to be submitted by Ms. Barrett.
