Electronic submission to AHA is required through AHA’s website. No preregistration is required. The upload screen will require you to enter some basic information: first name, last name, applying to, award program, submitter's e-mail address, principal investigator's e-mail address, and grants or sponsored programs officer's e-mail address. The proposal must be in one pdf document.
While the PI submits the application directly to the agency, the PI MUST follow proposal approval procedures for sponsored grants. Five (5) days before the grant application due date, a hard copy of the application, together a signed copy of the Proposal Approval Form, must be submitted to OSP.
After the OSP officer reviews and approves the paper copy of the proposal and the budget, the PI may then submit the proposal application electronically.
