The Foundation Center maintains the most comprehensive database on U.S. and, increasingly, global grantmakers and their grants — a robust, accessible knowledge bank for the sector. It also operates research, education, and training programs designed to advance knowledge of philanthropy at every level. The Center offers both free and fee based trainings and seminars/workshops on topics such as introduction to finding funders, grant seeking basics, proposal writing basics, and proposal budgeting basics.

The RACC National Certification Exam

The Research Administrator Certification Council has the primary role to certify that "an individual through experience and testing has the fundamental knowledge necessary to be a professional research or sponsored programs administrator" -- RACC

The RACC is a private, independent, non-profit organization that develops and administers a voluntary program for certification of individuals who meet the requirements established by the council. To find out more about how to become a Certified Research Administrator click here.
