Getting Started with the IRB

How to get started with the IRB:

1. You can find helpful information on the IRB website at www.gsu.edu/irb. For all the IRB policies, you can view the IRB Manual which is listed on the right side of the website.
   
2. Complete the required human subjects training, CITI. Information can be found in the Required Education section of the website.
   
3. Contact the IRB Staff at irb@gsu.edu for log-in information for the electronic submission program, IRBWise.
4. Complete the IRB application on IRBWise. Helpful information on IRBWise and completing the application is available on the website.
