Opening and Editing a Study that has been Created

How to Open and Edit an Application that has Already Been Created:

1. Log-in to IRBWise.
2. Click the ‘My Protocols’ tab in the middle of the screen.
3. Click on the title of the application which you would like to edit. 
4. The application should open in front of you. It will be in the ‘Summary’ display.  If you would only like to view the complete application, you can click on ‘details’ in the middle of the screen. The instructions continue below to edit the study.
5. On the right side of the screen, you should see the ‘edit’, ‘print’, and ‘submit’ buttons*. Click on the ‘edit’ button.
6. The application in an editable format will open on the screen.
7. Be sure to save the application often.

*Once an application has been submitted to the IRB, it will not be available to edit. You will know that it is not available to edit because only the ‘print’ button will be available. If edits are needed after the study has been submitted, you will need to contact the IRB office to have the study released.
