Current Georgia State University students may order transcripts via PAWS. You can pick up your transcript at 227 Sparks Hall (photo ID required) or have it mailed to you. If you have a financial obligation to the university, your transcript will not be released. For immediate service, please visit the One Stop Shop at 227 Sparks Hall. For all other inquiries, please call 404-413-2600.
For current students, access PAWS with your Campus ID and password. If you were previously a student and do not have a CampusID, click here to order a transcript. (CampusID is first initial, last name, and usually a number, such as JSmith108. It is the first part of your Georgia State email address, such as JSmith108@student.gsu.edu.)
If your payment is successful, you will see the message "Your payment has been received." You must then click Continue to complete your transcript request. If we are experiencing any hardware problems, you will receive a “technical problems” message. You will need to try again later. If you continue to experience difficulty using the web, report the problems to the Help Center at 404-413-4357 (HELP). You can also e-mail us at help@gsu.edu.
Once a transcript is ordered online, the printing and mailing process will begin. The option cannot be rescinded. If you determine that you need an additional transcript before the end of the processing time, you can come in person to request an additional transcript. However, doing so may incur an additional charge.
Transcript requests are completed within 7 business days from the initial receipt. You are entitled to 5 free transcripts in your lifetime. After 5 transcripts have been requested, a $10 fee will be assessed for each additional transcript.
If your deadline is prior to 5-7 business days and you can come to campus, you may request the transcript at the One Stop Shop, Sparks Hall, room 227 during normal business hours, 8:30 - 5:15.
As a courtesy to our students, we hold all official transcripts for pick-up in the One Stop Shop for 30 days. After 30 days, the transcripts are then mailed to the address provided when the request was made.
If you have questions about ordering a transcript, please call 404-413-2600 before placing your order.
