OpenText Web Solutions is the content management system (CMS) for Georgia State. You may have heard it to referred to as "RedDot," but that company was bought out two years ago, the name changed, and the software heavily rewritten.
In any event, "OpenText" is the term we use on this site, and if you are here to learn something about RedDot, you're in the right place. As of yet, we have not posted many of the basic tasks here. We've attempted to address the top problems that users encounter after training.
Very important: this site will merely supplement the mandatory, basic user training offered by The Exchange. It is very important that you attend training, even if you are familiar with the "old" RedDot.
About Training
Training sessions can be scheduled for your convenience. They last about an hour.
Before training, you must already have:
- An OpenText account
- A website that uses the new template
The Exchange does not train in the old templates. Please see your webmaster for clarification.
