Indian Creek Recreation Area
Location: 900 South Indian Creek Drive Stone Mountain, GA 30083
The Indian Creek Recreation Area in DeKalb County offers the Georgia State community a large swimming pool and snack bar (summer semester use only), rustic lodge, picnic grounds, sand volleyball court, tennis courts and Challenge Program ropes course.
Special features of the Indian Creek Recreation Area:
- The lodge is well suited for approved Georgia State University group meetings and retreats. The lodge is not for personal use.
- Tennis courts, picnic facilities, a sand volleyball court and a children's play area are available on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the year.
- The swimming pool operates during the summer. (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
- The Challenge Program ropes course is used by groups to build teamwork, trust and communication.

Indian Creek Lodge
This large rustic lodge is just the place for your meeting or approved university-related social event and is available to departments and chartered student organizations. The lodge offers: assembly room (34'x40'), living room, sun room, kitchen, restrooms, deck and cookout patio. Audio-visual equipment is available upon request. The lodge meets ADA approval. Make sure you are familiar with the reservation procedures.
**The Indian Creek Lodge will be CLOSED for extensive renovation beginning August 1, 2012. More information including specific details of the new Lodge and expected date of the grand opening will be available in the coming months. Note, the Indian Creek Pool will remain open through Labor Day.**

Private Swimming Lessons at Indian Creek Pool:
Lessons are available to all abilities and ages. Lessons are 30 minutes in length. Lessons will be scheduled around instructor availability during regular pool hours. You can only register at the Indian Creek Pool. Please bring your PantherCard to register. Cash and check only are accepted.

Party Reservations
Pool parties will be on a first come, first serve basis. No personal private parties are available. Parties for chartered student groups and faculty/staff departments will be allowed with a 10-day prior approval from Recreational Services after submission of pool reservation form.
• Reservations are for exclusive use of the picnic area and access to the pool
• Parties of 50+ will be charged for extra staff required
• parties can be scheduled Monday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
• cost: $125 plus hourly cost of extra lifeguard if necessary
