Break Trips

Florida Everglades

Florida Everglades Canoe Expedition and Dry Tortugas National Park
dates: Friday - Sunday, March 15 - 24

We’ll head to Florida for Spring Break but you won’t find us partying on the beach. We’ll be canoeing the Ten Thousand Islands area of the Everglades! This area is the most diverse and wildlife rich area in the southeast, including 200 species of birds, four endangered species, and of course — the manatee. Paddle your gear for the week with your guide along the Mangrove-lined rivers and swamp land in the Everglades, then break into the gulf and relax on the white sandy beaches as the sun sets over the ocean. Our journey will include visits to Big Cypress National Preserve, Everglades National Park and relaxing time in the keys. This is not an adventure to miss.

There may be some nominal fees not included in the price below.

Belize

Beliizean Adventure
dates:
Friday -  Monday, May 10 - 20

Join us on our adventurous and relaxing trip to Belize in Central America this May. We will be spreading ourselves thin over this beautiful country full of exciting rainforests, ancient Mayan ruins and relaxing tropical islands. We’ll fly into Belize and head inland to a jungle lodge/town to experience the lush Belizean forests teaming with exotic wildlife. A day trip to Tikal just across the boarder in Guatemala is possible, as are exciting cave tubing trips and evening wildlife walks. We will head back towards the coast, stopping at Mayan Ruins along the way and then make our way out to Caye Caulker, a small island a few hours boat ride from the mainland. There you’ll decide on snorkeling or SCUBA trips out to the barrier reef, relaxation on the island, a day long fishing trip out at sea or even hop on a water taxi and explore other islands. Airfare and lodging are included, as well as some group tours and ground transportation. In order to meet everyone’s needs the schedule will be left fairly open with many different activities to choose from. Passport or Visa is required.
