Budget News

 

The university fared well in its budget for FY '08. The Regents approved a 15.5% increase in tuition for first-time students as part of its Fixed-For-Four (FFF) policy of guaranteeing the same tuition for four years. Continuing students, who were not part of the first FFF class in fall 2006, will experience a 7% increase. In addition, the university received approximately half of the workload money earned for the System, plus an $800,000 allocation that was given to each of the four designated research universities.
