Tuition for Georgia State students includes full membership for the SRC. Faculty, staff and Georgia State graduates may purchase a membership through the facility.
Free Classes
Your membership includes a wide range of free classes and activities such as:
- Kickboxing
- Step
- Spin
- Strength training
- Sculpt
- Shallow and deep water fitness

Instructional Clinics
Our special instructional clinics are a great value for students at only $20* per semester for each clinic. The cost for other members is $40* per semester for each clinic. Instructional clinics include:
- Aquatics
- Dance
- Martial arts
- SCUBA
- Sport instruction
- Yoga

Personal Trainers
Our experienced staff is available to work with you one-on-one to help you achieve your goals. The 55 minute sessions can be purchased individually, in groups of three or for a full semester (30 sessions). A fitness assessment is required prior to beginning personal training.
Prices for 1 session/3 sessions/semester are as follows:
GSU students: $15/$40/$300
Other members: $20/$50/$450
(Prices do not include the $15 required fitness assessment.)
Certifications
Each year the SRC collaborates with the American College of Sports Medicine to coordinate and co-host two levels of certification appropriate for those coming out of kinesiology and health programs:
- Health Fitness Instructor
- Exercise Specialist
These certification sessions are attended by students from all over the country including our own recent graduates. In addition, SRC provides the following certification training:
- Lifeguard
- Red Cross First Aid/CPR
- SCUBA
Fit Fair
The annual SRC Fit Fair celebrates fitness by bringing together health related services from across the campus. Members attending the activity-oriented event receive free health screenings and services while learning about the varied programs and services available at Georgia State University. The event is held in April.
Freaky Fitness Frightfest
Each October SRC sponsors Freaky Fitness Frightfest, one of several events each year that encourage a proactive approach to health. Flu shots and cholesterol screenings are among the services offered. Don't miss the very scary haunted Rec!
