Day Hike in North Georgia
9 a.m. - 4 p.m. – Student Recreation Center, Touch the Earth
See what Georgia State can offer in the way of off-campus activities and adventures! In this outing, Touch the Earth leads a 5+ mile hike along trails in the foothills of the Appalachians, where you’ll see amazing vistas, flora and fauna. Transportation included; lunch not provided. Pre-registration at Touch the Earth is required by Thursday, Aug. 27.

On Friday, August 28th join us for a blockbuster movie night as part of Welcome Week at Georgia State! The movie is guaranteed to be something that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. There will be FREE popcorn, candy,and drinks for those that attend. - FREE for students and faculty with a Panther I.D. and $5 for guests.
