Panther Pathway to Success
1 - 2 p.m. – Student Center, Lanier Suite
College is about choices and making informed decisions. At the Student Advisement Center we have a team of 10 academic advisors ready to help. At this session, we will discuss SAC services, the Georgia State curriculum and how you can build an appropriate and balanced schedule. We can answer your questions about everything from selecting a major to the differences between a major, minor, and a concentration. Together you and your academic advisor will work to make an individualized plan that puts you on the path to student success.
Fiscal Fitness – Be Credit Wise Today for Financial Independence Tomorrow
4 - 5 p.m. – Student Center, Lucerne Suite
Get tips and resources on how to maintain financial independence and make wise fiscal decisions as a college student. Hosted by the Georgia State Federal Credit Union.
GSU: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
12 - 2 p.m. – Student Center, Speaker’s Auditorium
This program will showcase Georgia State University through the years. Come hear from students, alumni, faculty and staff about their experiences over the years, the traditions that have been developed (in some cases by them) and what they really, really, like about our school. Karaoke with the Inceptors
6 - 8 p.m. – Student Center, Speaker’s Auditorium
Lights, Camera, Karaoke! Join the 2009 Inceptors to take the stage and sing to your heart’s content. Enjoy an evening singing to your favorite artists’ songs.
