Ask Me Booths
8 a.m. - 6 p.m. – Different locations around campus
Trying to find your way around? Stop by one of the Ask Me Booths located around campus during the first week of classes. Faculty, staff and students will be on hand to guide you with directions and maps, plus you’ll get a Georgia State freebie!
Mega-One-Stop-Shop
8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. – Student Center Ballroom
The Mega-One-Stop-Shop is a centralized enrollment services center where new students can receive assistance with all their enrollment needs, as well as additional support for getting off to a successful start at Georgia State. Services include: One Stop Shop, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Academic Information, Immunization, University Housing, Ask-Me-Booth, Auxiliary and Support Services Information, Bookstore, Registrar, and IS&T.
Click-it or Ticket-it Safe Driving Program
10 a.m. - Noon – M Deck
The Click-it or Ticket-it team, composed of students, staff and faculty, will be stationed at parking decks around campus to welcome students to campus, educate them on seatbelt use, and reward those who are safely buckled up. Counseling & Testing Center Open House

Campus Services Marketplace and Job Fair
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. – Unity Plaza, Student Center
Campus offices from across the University will be represented, distributing information and giving away freebies promoting their services and programs. They will also be taking resumes for on-campus work-study and student assistant openings. For more information contact University Career Services.
Work Smarter Not Harder
Noon - 12:45 p.m. – Student Center, Lucerne Suite
Are you concerned about how to balance work, school and social activities? Work Smarter Not Harder gives you tips and techniques to effectively manage your time. You will learn how to prioritize your responsibilities and activities and also set goals for a successful school year.
Feed Your Senses: A Free Lunchtime Learning Performing Arts Series
Noon - 1 p.m. – Rialto Center for the Arts
Join your downtown friends for the Lunchtime Learning Performing Arts Series held monthly at Georgia State’s Rialto Center for the Arts. The program features a different artist or speaker each month, giving the audience a casual and fun insider’s look at their craft. For more information contact the Rialto Center for the Arts.
Table Tennis Exhibition

Georgia State Idol Auditions
5 - 7 p.m. – Student Center, Golden Key Room
Do you have what it takes to be the next Georgia State Idol? If so, try-out for the 4th annual Georgia State Idol competition. Students will perform for a panel of judges, vying for a spot in the finals on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Rialto Center for the Arts. Meet the Sororities and Fraternities
6 - 8 p.m. – Student Center, Speaker’s Auditorium (6 - 7 p.m. NPC Sororities, 7 - 8 p.m. IFC Fraternities)
Fraternities and sororities are an integral part of student life at Georgia State. Join us to find out how you can be part of a legacy that has created campus leaders for more than 50 years. You will learn about the many opportunities that sororities and fraternities have to offer, meet chapter members, and find out about the membership recruitment and intake processes. Also, Panhellenic and Inter-Fraternity Councils will be recruiting new members. All interested students and parents are invited. Greek Carnival

Come join the Georgia States Greek Carnival hosted by Interfraternity Council. Enjoy various activities such as corn hole and various eating contests. Interact with GSU Greek groups after Meet the Greeks and learn how you can become part of these brother or sisterhoods.
Health Promotion Happy Hour
8 - 9:30 p.m. – Student Center Lobby
