Panther Mart is the branded name for GSU’s new e-procurement application which was purchased from SciQuest. This application will simplify and create efficiencies in the procure to pay process. Some of the major benefits you will realize are: easily identify and place orders for contracted items, electronic invoicing generating quicker payments, and greater tracking and manageability of expenditures.
In the next few months, we will rollout Panther Mart to the University community in phases. This new software application will change the way we purchase goods, services, and process travel and payment requests. It is our goal to provide training for Panther Mart to smoothly transition users from processing procurement transactions in Spectrum to processing these transactions in Panther Mart. Listed below is our rollout schedule for Panther Mart.

Panther Mart training will consist of instructor-led (hands-on or lecture) training, videos for each course, on-line training guides and/or quick reference guides, and open classroom support training.
The lecture style of instruction accommodates up to 100 participants and is an instructor-led session. Participants will not have individual computer workstations. However, participants in these workshops will be offered labs or open classroom sessions to do practice exercises. These labs or open classroom sessions will be staffed with instructors and assistants to answer questions and to assist participants with exercises.
The hands-on training is an instructor-led session which usually accommodates between 20 and 30 people. Participants in these classes will have individual computer workstations.
Our Open Classroom Support Labs will assist Panther Mart participants with practice exercises or assist users with processing real transactions in Panther Mart. Employees are encouraged to bring their work with them to lab to get help processing invoices, travel and purchases, etc.
