Strategic Security
As a primary mitigation measure for man-made emergencies, the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) performs vulnerability assessments that identify security vulnerabilities, opportunities for security breaches and operational hazards on university buildings that can adversely affect the students, faculty, staff and visitors of the university.
OEM utilizes the basic vulnerability (security) assessment model utilized by the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Protective Service.
