Student Organizations: Affiliated with OAASS&P
- African Student Association (ASA): ASA was established to foster and enhance the intellectual and socio-cultural development of its members through educational and socio-cultural activities.
- Black Graduate Student Assocation: The Black Graduate Student Association seeks to enhance scholarly and professional development of graduate students at Georgia State University through networking.
- Black Law Students Association: The Black Law Students Association strives to articulate and promote the professional needs and goals of Black Law Students.
- Black Student Alliance: Their mission is to holistically uplift the African American community of Georgia State University. They plan events in an attempt to be a voice for the student body.
- University Speakers Association/Toastmasters: Campus Talkers is an organization affiliated with Toastmasters International designed to help students improve their communication and leadership skills.
- Caribbean Student Association (CARIBSA): Their purpose is to endorse unity among Caribbean and West Indian students. They strive to involve the Georgia State University community in Caribbean culture.
- Collegiate 100 Men of Atlanta GSU Chapter: This organization shares the 100 Black Men of Atlanta’s service ethic. They assist the 200 with its education, empowerment, and enrichment mission. The Collegiate 100 specifically teaches life skills modules, tutors Project Success Scholars, mentors, and teaches leadership skills.
- Conscious Collective: Conscious Collective serves as a platform for students to express themselves through the arts.
- Dancers on Pointe: Is an organization that allows students to show expression through various dance styles with an emphasis on Hip-Hop, Pop, and Reggae.
- Ethiopian Student Association: This organization is open to all students and is designed to give students an international view on life.
- Future Black Law Students: This organization encourages excellence, strategic thinking and a competitive mindset among minority law school aspirants.
- Haitian Student Association: They hope to break the stereotypes that many have of their culture through cultural interaction and awareness. They also seek to connect and introduce the GSU student body to the Haitian culture.
- Infinite Appeal Modeling Organization: Infinite Appeal is a community based service organization for students with an interest in fashion; they hosts fashion shows to raise funds for community projects.
- Music and Entertainment Industry Student Association (MEISA): MEISA is an organization comprised of students with an interest in the music and entertainment industry.
- Minority PreMed/PreDental: Serves to provide a cooperative and supportive climate for the intellectual development of students through study groups, mentoring, workshops and gatherings, focusing on the concerns of students pursuing careers in the medical field.
- Model African Union (AU): Model AU is a student group consisting of delegates representing one or more African nations at annual regional and national competitions. Model AU simulates the proceedings of the African Union.
- NAACP: The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of right sof all people of color living in the United States.
- National Association of Black Veterans (NABVETS): NABVETS is a Student Veterans Service Organization with the mission of providing a forum and resources for all veterans attending Georgia State with the purpose of improving their quality of life.
- National Council of Negro Women: The Georgia State Section of the National Council of Negro Women is a voluntary non-profit membership organization whose mission is to advance the quality of life and opportunities for African American Women, their families and communities.
- Progressive Organization of Liberian Students (POLS): The purpose of POLS is to promote, foster and enhance the cultural aspects of Liberia and Liberian descendants through cultural activities and events.
- Sankofa Society: Sankofa Society was founded as an African culture based organization on campus. It encourages students to be academically involved.
- Softer Touch: Softer Touch is an organization whose interest is to foster intellectual, social, and cultural growth and development throughout the campus and its surrounding communities.
- Tighter Grip: Tighter Grip is an African American male initiative that focuses on the recruitment and retention of the African American male.

- Vineyard of Praise: This organization is the Vineyard of Praise Gospel Choir for Georgia State University. Its mission is to be a catalyst for student development and growth.
- W.E.B. Du Bois Society at Georgia State: The W.E.B. Du Bois Society, in the wisdom and lifelong ambition of Dr. Du Bois, is dedicated to uncovering the truths that lie beneath the discourses of daily life.
