ATLANTA – A “Latino Influences on American Cultures” art exhibit will be on view at Georgia State University until Oct. 12 in the Student Center Gallery Art Lounge.
Georgia State University’s Intercultural Relations in collaboration with the Office of Latino Student Services and Outreach and Instituto de Mexico are hosting the art exhibit, which features paintings and drawings from GSU students and artists from the community. The work is meant to celebrate the numerous ways Latino culture has been woven into the American landscape through people, music, food and tradition.
The Gallery Art Lounge is located on the third floor of the GSU Student Center, located at the corner of Courtland and Gilmer streets. The gallery hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Friday, and noon to 8 p.m. on Saturdays.
