A sea of students clad in colorful Greek T-shirts gathered in Hurt Park on March 29, to participate in the annual Georgia State University Greek Week Olympics.

To unite the Greek system, each of the university's 24 fraternities and sororities were scrambled into teams that competed against one another in tug of war, a donut eating contest, pyramid building, an egg toss and a obstacle course.

Elements of the obstacle course included students walking on a wooden balance beam, pulling teammates in a garbage can lid, and filling up buckets with the water from sponges filled at another bucket.

Other Greek Week activities included the GSU Annual Step Show and a Greek Week BBQ. A Greek awards celebration will be held at 6 p.m. April 11 at the Student Center Ballroom.
