ATLANTA – When the Georgia State University Marching Band took the field on Sept. 2 for the first time ever, the feeling in the Georgia Dome was electric.
For more than 30,000 cheering fans, the band proudly marched and boldly played their pre-game performance and halftime show. It was an impressive performance, especially for a group of students who started working together on the fundamentals of marching less than a month ago.
